We claim to have gained some kind of knowledge once we perceive any kind of pattern. Is that all there is to it?
Does knowing consist of assessing a particular pattern and claiming THAT as a victory over “stuff”: over what is beyond speech, the eyes, the ears and any kind of definable perception?
Not exactly just a phatic function (i.e., “I exist”), but somewhat similarly, stating simply that one perceives.
